Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread (about 12-14 inches long)
  • 1 lb ribeye steak or sirloin, thinly sliced (or shaved beef for convenience)
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 8 oz provolone or American cheese, sliced (or Cheez Whiz for authenticity!)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

    • Return to the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
